Special Project and little Thief

I've been doing some special baking at work the past couple of days.  WagNWash is going to donate some treats to the Humane Society and guess who gets to make them?  Me!

Along with the help of my kitchen minion, Amanda, I made and decorated all these cookies.  I love doing things like that.  What is so funny is that Whitman, the same dog that regularly spits out the treats I give him, was caught several times stealing the freshly made cookies right off of the cooling racks.  Amanda and I had a great time laughing at this little thief.

Whitman may not be the smartest boy out there but man he is just hilarious!

Pretty!

Baking Fiend

I love my job.  I love the fact that I can hang out in my kitchen and bake treats for dogs.  I don't have to worry about other people and other things.  I just do my thing.  It helps that my boss is awesome and the girls I work with are awesome!  We regularly have dance offs and talk about girly things.  Sundays at work are my favorite days.

Plus it's cool that I seem to actually be pretty good at this baking thing.  The owners really like my stuff and even asked me to specially make 250 bones and decorate them so they could take them to a trade show in FL.  I'm the newest baker and, apparently, the best baker.  I'm having a blast!

Baker Extraordinaire!

I totally dibbed being the new baker at Powers!

EEEEE!

So before I get ahead of myself, I was not pleased about being moved to the new store for my job.  I wanted to stay at the store that I was trained at but I am sure glad that I did move because now I get to be the new baker.  Yes.  I will get paid to bake treats for doggies!

The current baker got a better job offer so he is quitting.  I kind of heard it through the grape vine and I quite literally dibbed it.  So after a few days of training I am ready to start baking!  It's not really all that hard and I wanted him out of my kitchen to begin with so I'm not sore that I didn't get very much training.

Now my job is to make things like this:

It's okay.  You can admit it.  You're a wee bit jealous of me.

SUCK IT!  I'm making pupcakes!
